Son's computer needed an upgrade so rummaging through my spares box I found a single stick of 32 GB DDR4 RAM. Stuck it in his machine (Inspiron 5680 running Win10) and it boots just fine. However, it only shows up as 16 GB.
Is this because I'm only using 1 DIMM slot? Otherwise not sure what could be the problem. --------- Brian
