I bought a new Season 3 of Fortitude Blu-ray disk from a seller in the UK. The season hasn't made it here yet. I have done this before and never had a problem playing a region 2 disk. The disk arrived but I can not play it on either my Panasonic BluRayDisk player nor my computers Pioneer BD-RW BDR-209D. The computer can read the drive but when I try to play with VLC I get the error message >>
Your input can't be opened VLC is unable to open the MRL check the log here is the log>> -- logger module started -- main: one instance mode ENABLED main: Running vlc with the default interface. It is referred to as 17.0GB media which holds about 15.9 computer GB (over 8 hours of audio and video). With the advent of Blu-ray technology, DVD 18 has generally become obsolete. A obsolete recording method? I am starting to think I have some kind of homemade counterfeit disk ... what does the collective think?
