To be honest, I haven't turned on the old machine since it transferred.
I believe most of the programs won't allow use on two computers.

Just a week or so ago, I transfered (image via Macrium) my C drive from an
i7-8700 to a 5800X. Win 10 had no problems with activation, acted as if
nothing changed. Office 2016, however, screamed that the hardware had changed
and it needed to be activated/new key. Some of my other programs whined about
activating on a new computer, specifically Presonus Studio One and Waves
plugins. Both were easy fixes online.

desktop/files/programs from one machine to another? I mean nowadays, at least
with iPhones you can just restore from an iCloud backup and I have to admit
it's pretty nice for things to be that easy... Is there anything like that in
the Windows world?
