Actually I've never used an SSD before and can only tell you what others
have said about how much faster your PC will be with one. I just setup my
first RAID 0 array and it impressed me with a noticeable speed increase.
SSD must be even better considering Anand Lashimpi says that an SSD is the
best upgrade anybody can get for their PC. Sandforce is the best SSD
controller on the market at this time and I thought Vertex 2 used it.
Maybe I'm wrong about that. By the way, hows progress on your new build?
Bought anything yet?

Hello Scoobydo,
Did you go with the OCZ Agility 2 SSD (Sandforce 1200 controller)
over the Vertex 2 series with a 50K IOPS because of the Sandforce
controller? Seems like the Vertex is a little better or am I missing
something?
