Vincent,
I still run/use WinXPsp3. I can not yet afford to move to where most
of out list has gone....Win7......... :)
I sorta understand my limitations ATM. I am behind the curve.
For now, I am happy that ATI's latest dropper even did an upgrade!
This is a last gasp really. This ATI card is soon to be replaced.
Best of the Season,
Duncan

I'm running a similar card (4770) and I have the same driver number and
date. You don't mention the OS but it seems odd that if you're running a
later version of Windows that a newer driver didn't come through Windows
Update.

Subject: [H] ATI Driver Question?

I use the ATI Radeon HD4650 video card (for the moment?) on my 'office'
client. Yesterday, I followed the ATI videos, and de-installed my
current video driver. Rebooted, and then installed a 'new' video driver
from the latest Catalyst 10-11 series download. I do understand that my
Radeon HD4650 is NOT the spiffiest video card in the ATI garage. LOL!
I did bypass the Catalyst Series 9 driver.

My old ATI driver was V8.632.0.0whql, dated 07-02-2009.

Post install of the 10-11_xp32_dd.exe driver set,

My new ATI driver is V8.791.0.0, dated10-26-2010.

Does this seem about correct? I was kinda hoping for a V10.x.x.0 driver
dated 11-07-2010.
Thanks,
Duncan
