I'm just about ready to make the plunge into the SSD world, however I
have a couple of questions.......
I am thinking something in the 120 GB range, since I have a 300GB
velociraptor for my main drive now, I could relegate that to the main
storage drive.
However, I want maximum speed, and I mean seriously fast shit!!
I was thinking, instead of going for 1 120 GB drive, I could spring for
2 60 GB's and RAID0 them.
I checked the price difference and it's minimal, around 20-30 dollars
more for the RAID0 solution.
My question is that are there any detrimental effects to RAID0'ing SSD
drives?
I'm thinking of getting the Corsair Force 60 drives with the Sandforce
controllers.
However, depending on the feedback I get here, I am willing to change my
choice.
Oh yeah, I have a MSI P55 Motherboard, if that helps......
