The organization I work for recently switched from Google Apps to Microsoft's BPOS, against my recommendations. And as expected, the experience so far as been sub-par at best.
One of the problems we have is that calendars other than the default personal one are not syncing to any mobile devices. This is a really important issue, as we have two shared group calendars that we use to track and coordinate all our events and travel, and those calendars are not syncing to anyone's mobile device (we use both Blackberries and iPhones in the org). Our IT contractor has been looking into this for weeks and hasn't been able to come up with either a reason why or a fix. Any thoughts? On a related issue, an internet calendar I subscribed to (from the awesome trip planning website TripIt) shows up in Outlook but does not sync to my phone. It would be nice to get that syncing as well. Of course, on Google all these calendars were syncing to everyone's devices just fine. --------- Brian
