This type of device (a paper-thin "e-display" that can even be glued to the wall) is often used by a number of big super market chains for displaying "todays offer" or
similar, so this kind of display must be available in larger quantities from somewhere. You may want to contact a marketing display wholesale or something in that area.
The interface for transferring from the internet could be anything, I dont'
know.
If you manage to solve this, please post your findings to the list, as this is
quite interesting.
