It should store it in form storage and not temp files. It could be possible for CC info to be stored in a cookie, but I have never seen a case like that. Cookies are most often used simply as an identifier.
I think your client has faulty security logic. The biggest risk is not CC info being stored on your computer, but rather it being stored on a website that then gets hacked or handles your CC info in an insecure way. Besides, most attacks I've seen that grab CC info on the client side are sophisticated enough to detect AV suites and turn them off. I guess his approach is to never use a credit card at all in the Internet? Kinda overkill if you ask me. I store my CC info (as well as all my login info for every website) with Last Pass. It is an extremely secure system and allows me to keep the info safe while also keeping track of all my login details and autofilling them in site logins. That way, I can have different passwords for every site and not have ot remember them. ----------- Brian Follow Me [image: LinkedIn] <http://www.linkedin.com/in/brianweeden> [image: Twitter] <http://www.twitter.com/brianweeden> On Sat, Jan 15, 2011 at 11:14 AM, Thane Sherrington < [email protected]> wrote: > At 11:19 AM 15/01/2011, Anthony Q.
