WHAT! Electro-Freaking-Static filters????????? Oh, so please share info I missed while I drooled all over my 2010 Lian-Li catalog!
Where do the filters 'plug-in?'
I put a Lian-Li case in the 'investment-class.' Damn things are not cheap!
Best,
Duncan

My new Lian-Li cases have electrostatic filters. I wonder if Lian-Li has

Many months ago (6-7?) we had a thread about cooling fan filter media.
I have several Lian-Li fan filters (open-foam) that were starting to dis-integrate. I was
never able to find a suitable replacement "open-foam" media to test. Some very
smart Collective Member suggested using Swiffer Sweeper sheets cut to fit the filter
carriers. Thank you, Collective Member!

Thank you, Collective Member!

I converted all of my cases to use this new "Sx3" idea. I buy the 16 count box (Dry
Sweeping Refills, 10.4in x 8.0in). Now, after 6 months, I am convinced this "Sx3" idea is
solid.
It works superbly with my current case design. Internal case dust residue is
virtually nill. Heat sinks and their fans are much cleaner. The regular PM
vacuum nets very little residual dust.

Yes, maybe easy for me. Perhaps more retrofit for others.
This is the Hardware Group after all................ :)

ATM, each "sheet" nets me 3 case filters (front-dual fans) with little dross. In my
home's environment, each "filter" lasts ~90 days or more. I am a single male, and, I am a
smoker.
NO, I have not done a run-to-failure (fully plugged!) test. Why bother?
No need to make my C2D's any more toasty than they already are!

I am fully converted. I am sold. A very excellent idea here. YMMV.
Thank you, again.
