Am told it means "Digital Enhanced Cordless
Telecommunications"....Version 6.0.
So far I know is uses the 1.92GHz to 1.93GHz spectrum. Sorta where old
analog Channel 2 used to was. Could be wrong?

I'm convinced. I will go DECT 6.0. All Collective replies to date about DECT 6.0
indicate a resounding "no problemo!"
But, I am a bit confused by the model research I have done.
Is there a smaller footprint (envelope, range, area, whatever) that
DECT 6.0 offers?
I look at Panasonic and Uniden. Both offer models that either HAVE, or, offer
"range extenders."
I get it; I think. I accept that the 1.9GHz spectrum is 'brave new world.'
And, I do understand WHY it is.
Should I plan or ignore "range extenders" up front for choice?
Uniden DECT2180-6 (older model?)
Uniden DECT3380-6r (range extender DRX332)
Uniden DECT3380-3R (range extender DRX332)
Panasonic KX-TG6545B (base+5 headsets)
........(optional range extender is KX-TGA405B)
Panasonic KX-TG6543B (base+2 headsets)
........(optional range extender is KX-TGA405B)
No. Not doing a money discourse yet! Thank you.
