[H] LOR Blu-ray

[Winterlight]

Quite awhile ago I signed up to be notified when the Lord of the 
Rings Extended edition became available on Blu-ray and I was just 
notified that Amazon was taking pre orders. Now I am wondering if it 
is worth it. Some blu-ray things look fabulous to me, while most are 
ho hum. Anybody see any of the standard editions on blu-ray... any comments?
