Does anyone know what other services are required for the UPS Service to
run?
The OS is Server 2003 (sp2). I have what appears to be a m/b USB ER
(emitter/rcvr) issue.
I can accept that my local m/b USB ports might be toast. I believe they are
USB v1.1 at best. I have a tool to TS and confirm; in process.
Still, all attempts to RUN the OS UPS Service nets me a msg widow of:
"Could not start UPS service on local computer.
Error 2481: The UPS Service is not configured correctly."
Perhaps I do miss the little blue battery in the SysTray I fought with 2
weeks back!
Yes, I am googling 'Error 2481.'............. :)
