I ended up grabbing the Viewsonic G-tab, wiped it immediately and installed a custom ROM with full android market, honeycomb & loaded all my usual apps. It's a dual core tegra CPU and very fast with the custom ROM. I use it all the time for surfing, movies, etc. If you watch for specials you can get the G-tab for about $300 and it does all and more than many of the higher priced tablets. The only con is that the ROM it comes with is crap, and has no android market until you get a custom ROM on it.
