just curious. Have two c300 256gb crucial running in RAID 0. I just
updated the FW to 007 b4 I set the raid and was wondering when 008
comes along and I have to set to IDE mode on 3gb controller to do the
update will that break the raid or will it be fine when set back ?
Whole thing is a test bed anyway. the 2 SSD's are backed up with
BounceBack SW to a single WD platter drive which brings up another
odd question, WD is a black drive and according to the WD
AcronisAlignTool formatted advanced format. Did not think the Black
drives would do that. ( is a new one). Whole setup is a experiment.
Raid seems no faster then the single drive. FWIW using Diskeeper HYPERFAST.
Also wondering if the SSD tweaker tool is worth it. System had been
running as a single SSD for 6 months b4 I did this with no apparent
slowdown like I read about. It will occasionally *think* real hard if
ya know what I mean.
