Ditto! Please check the attributes of the file(s). SyncToy has a real
grumble with 'read-only' files.
It did in v2.0, and, it still does in v2.1.
I have had this chronic trouble with PDF files I collect that come to me
as 'read-only.'
Once I reset the RO bit, the files copy/backup fine;.....even though
they end up with a grayed-out
but checked box ?per XP?.

Checked permissions and set it to full control and still have the
problem. Any idea as to what's up. Oh, yeah, every other file on
that drive (as far as I can tell), will copy over fine. Strange.
