I believe some on our List use ESET NOD32 A/V.
I still do, even though I can not seem to get the latest
Business Edition (v4.xx) to play nice on my LAN. I have to
admit this may be just pebcak. Fine. I am so used to this
syndrome now! LOL!

I finished testing the V5 A/V (5.0.65.0) BETA. Some minor
bugs. Nothing I'd call a show stopper.

I finished testing the V5 A/V (5.0.84.0) RC. Nothing I'd
call a show stopper.

Moved to the V5 A/V (5.0.93.0) release version. The newest
wrinkle I saw was a need to 'activate' this code. I suspect that
this is ESET's method of blunting pirate usage of their toys.

Two days after I installed this version, ESET updated my install
to what I use now, v5.0.94.0. This happened totally in the
background. No action required by the user. Pretty slick.

Anyone familiar with V3.x or V4.x of their A/V product should
have no trouble with V5.x. V5.x introduces a new HIPs module.
Yes, the HIPs module is still immature, but most users accept
this new feature to mature as time goes buy. Of, course YMMV.
I have no negatives against this new feature ATM.

No. I have no experience with the Full Security Suite. I do not
feel a 2d (or replacement) Firewall was helpful. My XP Firewall
is fine for me ATM. Again, YMMV.
Best,
Duncan
