Cablecard would have to be done on the pc end and I do not know the state of that market as I do not do DVR, I simply download others' recordings. That said, I would have look but I am sure MS is not the only source for such features and would also guess with DTSMA you are similarly without solution. Having all content cross indexed sounds cool but I'll bet you mean DVR content which had some sort Tivo/TV guide database access when recorded which does nothing for ripped content. Even if it indexes ripped content automatically like cddb does cd/mp3 content, that could be implemented by anyone. I was talking purely about streaming to DLNA, you're clearly beyond that and securely in MS back pocket for your solution.
