Upgrade to 2-day shipping on everything that ships from Amazon, no limit
(its not free since you are paying 80 bucks). That means i order a LOT
of stuff from them, rather than searching all over for it. You have to
make sure it ships from Amazon as there are items that ship from 3-party
vendors who sale on Amazon. It will say "prime eligible", so there is
never any issue. Lots of times, if an item is to arrive on Saturday
they speed it up and you get it on Friday, thus effectively making it
free one-day shipping. That depends on the item and when you place your
order on Thursday.
You also get to view all of their instant videos...and now you get to
share books if you have a kindle.
It's for Amazon junkies, really.
