I think so. Essentially it allows you to rip cd, dvd, or blurays to iso images, put them in a directory on a 2.5inch sata hdd and then when it powers on (powered by usb) you can choose hd mode or disk mode. Bootable from the iso you choose or the hdd itself. Very slick. There is a switch on the side that rolls up and down to choose options on lcd and press it in to select.
