[H] Burn in for new HDs

Do you guys have a favorite app to use to test a new hd before using it 
in a system?  I typically just run crystaldiskmark on it several times. 
I just want to make sure these drives that come in a case work before I 
rip off the case, because then I doubt if the warranty is any good anymore.
