Depends on which sites and what kind of stuff they do. But FF
frequently locks up on several sites I used (which is not that many).

On single tab or a smaller number Firefox works just fine.
I run between 30 and 50 tabs open all the time. My "home" page is a
list of 15 sites, and I open those every day on top of the main bunch
of 30-50. Virtually zero crashes. And I don't restart my computer
often (maybe once every two weeks - I just hibernate to move the
laptop from home to work) so I'd argue that FF is virtually 100% stable.
