Last year I bought a Bioshock 2 DVD from Amazon. It is a brand new retail game. Last weekend I decided to play it so I installed it, ignored the MS Live Profile log in as I have no interest in playing anyway but as a single player, and started playing. At the end of the first level I discovered I could not save the game without a Windows Live Game Profile. So I logged in with my hotmail account, and then went back to playing, but I had lost my game. Ticke off, I started again, saved my game, and a notice popped up that a update was ready and if I choose not to install it I would be exited to windows. I installed it and when it reloaded I could not get into private game only multiplayer.

When I first start the game I go directly into mulitplayer load your profile and then when I say I want a private game the program closes down and then restarts with private game schedule but when I try to play it takes me to a screen that only shows my cursor and upon input by mouse or keyboard closes to windows.

And why I try to sort this out MS Live Game keeps poping up even though I am logged in. This came with no instructions no step by step nothing to help figure out Windows Live Game... it sucks. I once bought a ZUNE to play Podcasts on when I went on my daily walk. I thought the device was good but I hated the zune software which, like Windows Live Game is unfathomable with little or no explanation, a zillion useless uneeded features, and a struggle to do the basic things it was intended to do. It was no surprise to me that the device was cancelled last year.... but they kept the zune software!

Anyway, can anyone who has used the POS Windows Live Game DRM help me sort this out so I can play the game.

Thanks.
