the OSX 10.8 preview had my hands full. I am not excited about the release because at the moment I don't see what would help my anymore, maybe the notifications and iMessages type app. I have not figured out if notes it taking over for textedit or ??? one thing that I do find awesome is the ability to use airplay to push video from the mac wirelessly to my appletv. that is cool, but not something I've been waiting for. When I used to game more, I would have liked gamecenter, now it's more of a 'meh type thing.
i think my problem stems that I already use their Pages product for documents, and I don't have a need for excel like spreadsheets updating on my ipad, and when I do I use logmein to edit the one on my desktop :-/ but for the average user this integrated internet data drive is cool (aka icloud). the "Share it" button hahahahahahaha that is just funny, but that feature is obviously not for me... :) the same goes for gatekeeper, this is a fantastic feature for my non-techie mac user base that I help out in my family. it makes their life easiest. Many of them started android phone users and all but 3 now all use iOS, and the ones that kept their android phones are on TMobile, all the others are sprint, vzw and at&t all now ios users. If these users who went from hating their android phones to loving their iphones, migrate away from their windows xp and 7 boxes towards a macbook air, chances are that with osx10.8 they would be able to navigate their OS with little effort as many screens would appear to be like their phones. also the ability to prevent them from running unsigned code is great, they are not power users so I think gatekeeper will be great for that. how's that for noise? :) -Francisco http://bit.ly/sqlthis | Tsql and More... <http://db.tt/JeXURAx> On Fri, Feb 17, 2012 at 00:34, Zulfiqar Naushad <[email protected]> wrote: > Be vewwy vewwy quiet.
