I just installed it on Ver8.? I did the x64 install. I had to create a custom VM. I set it up as if it were for Windows 7 but did not actually install anything to it. It was Just a blank VM. I then rebooted the VM with the Win 8 DVD in and then it proceeded with the installation. Hope this helps.

I'll have to get back to you if they release a newer build. Metro is sucky sucky on the desktop either way.
