Steve,
I think I fixed it, maybe? I went in and checked my Hotmail 'launch' link in FFox.
It points to:
http://login.passport.net/uilogin.srf?id=2

I changed this to:
http://www.hotmail.com

and I get right to a new 'live.com' login screen that shows only 'phones!'
Fine. I login; I see my page, I see my inbox, I SignOff and go directly to
the msn.com site! No warnings or hangups!

Silly me. My old 'Hotmail' login link is probably ~15yrs old!

Oh, I also killed '3d Party cookies' again in FF/Privacy also.

Next, I will raise a question about the FF 'whitelist?' Mine is HUGE!
Thanks,
Duncan

OK. Understand; but I have NOT tried to integrate Hotmail into TBird yet.
TBird does my primary isp only. I still have some internal TBird
housekeeping to do................. :(

Duncan,

I've seen the same thing with hotmail/firefox/noscript. However, I've never tried to fix it as 99% of the time, I pick up my hotmail with Tbird. It may be a known issue, but not a noscript issue?

I use Hotmail.com as my primary web-based email portal.
If only cuz I have been there since way too long ago.

It seems that NoScript gets picky when I try to LOG OFF.
I hang up at, 'Can not log you out of Hotmail.com.'

Normally, I just close the browser and hope this breaks the
the session and logs me off. Now, I am not so sure any
longer(?)

I have read (to blindness) the faqs of NoScript. NoScript
suggests that I allow:
hotmail.com
live.com
wlxrs.com

(also allowed msn.com, passport.com)

I did. Still no joy logging off. Suggestions?
Duncan
