Jamie,
Thank you, but,......I think I am trying to get at the differences between
ALLOW ALL
and
Temporarily Allow All

At no time have I ever clicked the ALLOW SCRIPTS GLOBALLY.

Yes, I do have sites I use (banking/investment/medical/retirement/government) monthly and/or daily. These sites I trust on the 'https' business Brian schools about. And, when I save their links, I do 'code' them as ALLOW ALL. The link I have is my only way into their 'secure' logic. Mostly NoScript plays nice here; because I believe
that when I choose ALLOW ALL, I do tell NoScript to buzz off and shut up!

I can freely agree that my frequent use of 'Temporarily Allow All' as I do normal, daily smurfing to find info is/may be populating my NoScript 'WhiteList.' Fine. I can understand this and, perhaps, start clicking at the bottom of the NoScript list, AND, click/select UP the list until I can SEE the info I need to move on.

I guess my confusion is that even though I allow the 'Temporarily Allow All' as
I do, AND, I have tried very hard to force FireFox to DELETE COOKIES and
DELETE HISTORY when I CLOSE the browser, I still end with a very large and
difficult 'WhiteList' to deal with......(another project!)....... :)

Yes, I am still NoScript confused! But, I continue to use it.
Best,
Duncan

Short answer - there is no "right" answer - it depends on your browsing habits. If you visit a lot of sites then there will be a lot of entries, if you don't then there won't.

Generally I'd say if you haven't been permanently allowing everything you come across you probably don't need to modify the list at all as it's tailored for your browsing habits. Keep in mind that best practice is to temporarily allow sites that you don't intend on going back to - like that oddball blog that came up in a search - and only if the site obviously doesn't work. If you're allowing everything you visit no matter what then NoScript isn't doing as much good.

Just how many entries should live in my NoScript WhiteList?

I will accept that each time I click ALLOW ALL, I help add to
my current collection..................... :(

Still wondering about the 'Temporarily Allow All' click?

Should I spend time to DE-populate my White-List manually,
of just kill NoScript and start all over again?

Thank,
Duncan
