Actually, I really owe more thanks to this Collective without whose help
and suggestion over the years made this possible.

Yes, I do wired-only. The new toy is a Netgear RND2000-200NAS. I stuffed

This new NAS will live a very charmed life. It will be used weekly,

whenever to backup my current primary NAS.
Both of my NAS' are the DUO models. Nice products.
Internal hardware is vastly different than the older model. It uses a
Marvell
'ARM' 6282 cpu attached to 256MB of RAM. The ethernet port is fully
10base1000.
The 3 USB ports all support USB3 (and 2 and 1).
It does contain an active DLNA server/device; though I have no plans
here.
All in all, pretty happy for $180 (w/Promo coupon from the egg).
