Don't recall if there is any way to get to the internal chip diodes, but
seem to
believe most PC's post 2K all have a 'WinBond' chip that
monitors/translates
the CPU data to visible numbers...............(?)
I use the CPU-Z app. Seems like it could be loaded/installed on a flash
drive
for when you wish to sniff/looksee.
