I will check in.

My son's home desktop has USB 3 but I do not want to drag the speakers in there. ATM it is not a problem. Not sure when I will have the time to do surgery.

Next week I hope.

I watched the flick. The 2 USB2 ports are dedicated to mouse and kbd.
And, they have a special decal/cover; last I watched............... :)
Can't speak to the Bose needs. If the Bose will work on USB3, fine.
Otherwise, yes, search for onboard USB2 ports............BUT, I fear
future mouse/kbd wars with the Bose Audio.

Sitting here with my new hw contemplating getting productive. I notice it has 4 USB 3 ports and 2 USB 2 ports out the back. Manual is specific about KB and mouse being on the USB 2 but my Bose speakers operate from a single USB port.

Will they work on USB 3 or will I need a L bracket to use one of the onboard USB 2 headers ?

Thanks
