I have a client who approached me to transcribe notes for his brother to provide a digital version to enter into a blog. I have no experience with blogs or websites, but on the surface this appeared to be a service I could provide. Of course the initial job description quickly disappeared as I found out the brother was serving a life sentence for first degree murder and had no access to a computer. The brother claims he was framed for the murder, but I digress....
The brother has been in prison for 5.5 years (i.e., he suggested MySpace as one venue) and I am not sure he understood the limitations of a blog versus a website. Now that the blog is up and running, he has decided that it does not frame his story how he wants it to appear and now wants a full blown website. So, my question. Does anyone have experience or suggestions on some of the "free" websites . A quick search came up with: Webstarts.com Web.com Wix.com Bravenet.com He wants to purchase his own domain.
