I second that.  I can't quite remove Java and Flash, but I do run no script and 
some chrome extensions which disable flash elements until I explicitly tell 
them to run.   MSIE is silent and lightweight.

Running a full-fledged AV suite, Kaspersky or whomever, or heaven forbid BUYING 
one is just not worth it when you look at the false negative and false positive 
rate of AV.
