I am an electrical engineer with about two decades experience. Most of my
work has been on 'monolithic' projects, such as ASIC design on huge chips. I
have purchased a couple of little home brew microcontroller kits but never
did much with them. I just picked up an arduino and some shields. will see
how that goes. The arduino design doesnt seem particularly special from the
other kits. the difference seems mostly in the huge number of projects,
shields, code samples, and help, available on the net to get a project up
and running without having to reinvent every wheel in the book.
anyway, just saying hi.
looks like the mail archives got wiped out so I have no idea how many folks
are on the list.
so, who is out there and what hardware are you hacking?
