This is also strange. It sounds like the kernel is overlapping with
the framebuffer.
Can you do two things -
1 - create the earlyharetlog.txt file, start haret, launch kernel, and
then mail the resulting haretlog.txt file to this list.
2 - Add "set fbduringboot 0" to your launch script and see if you can
boot.
