If you want to try to boot Beetles with the Sable kernel, you need to tell haret to use the right MTYPE. Currently, haret detects beetles and uses mtype 1003. Sable (HW6900) uses mtype 1157 - you can override the mtype with "set mtype 1157". Looks like sable and beetles was worked on by "cr2", "psokolovsky", and "lkcl" from the irc channel #htc-linux on irc.freenode.net. You might want to log on and see if anyone knows the status of the kernel / hardware. -Kevin > 2008/1/20, Kevin O'Connor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > > > Hi, > > > > On Sun, Jan 20, 2008 at 02:40:45PM +0300, Gryanko Alexandr wrote: > > > Hi! > > > > > > I've got HP hw6515d(HTC Beetles): > > [...] > > > > > > I've downloaded familiar linux here > > > > > http://ftp.handhelds.org/distributions/familiar/releases/v0.8.4-rc3/images/ipaq-pxa270/ > > > > > > Haret shows "jumping to kernel" and then nothing ... > > > > One _must_ use a kernel specific to the device.
