Off the top of my head I don't remember any reports about problems with any 4.x, not in the past three years at least. There have been a couple lingering issues with template instantiations that I could never reproduced. That one is here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60125 and it can be worked around for whoever does experience it. behdad > Many thanks > > Ian > > -----Original Message----- > From: Behdad Esfahbod [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Behdad > Esfahbod > Sent: Saturday, September 28, 2013 12:02 PM > To: Ian Walberg; [email protected] > Subject: Re: [HarfBuzz] Building on RH 7 > > On 13-09-27 08:01 PM, Ian Walberg wrote: >> hb-open-type-private.hh:346: error: call of overloaded `CastP(const char*&)' >> is ambiguous > > Unfortunately gcc 3 is way too old to handle our templates, let alone gcc > 2.96 which I guess is what's on RH7.
