Dear HUers, In 27th October, the Hindus will celebrate Deepawali New Year. Deepavali (Diwali) is popularly known as the "festival of lights"; the most significant spiritual meaning is "the awareness of the inner light". People all over the world celebrate Deepavali with festive fireworks, lights, flowers, sharing of sweets, and worship. While the story behind Deepavali varies from region to region, the essence is the same - to rejoice in the Inner Light - the knowing of which outshines all darkness, awakening the individual to one's true nature, as the unchanging, infinite, immanent and transcendent reality. With the realization of the inner Light comes universal compassion, love, and the awareness of the oneness of all things (higher knowledge). This brings Ananda (Inner Joy or Peace). *This year, it is celebrated on the 27th of October.*
I hope we can arrange for collective meditation to celebrate the divine grace starting on 26th October 2008 and also at 27th October at 9.00 pm (your local timezone). 1. Sit comfortably in crossed leg or in a chair, 2. You can burn incense, or play soft music meditation. 3. Then You can intent to connect the HU Web Of Light, invoke to Archangel Metatron and his companion to help you to receive the energy of Deepawali. 4. Then you can begin the meditation for 30 minutes or more (try to feel when it's enough you may end the meditation) 5. Say thank you to Metatron and all divine light that help you PS. Minoo, I am sure you know much about this beautiful festival, I hope you can share to us about this wonderful happening. Thank you Harmony in light, Rustan
