We were called yesterday to come to San Antonio because the
doctors found a lemon sized tumor in our #2 grandson's brain.
He also had a large quantity of fluid which needed a stint to get
it drained like it should be. He had emergency surgery today
for the stint and then he is slated for surgery again on 4 Jan for
the tumor.
The tumor is in the Medulla part of the brain and takes most of
the space for that. It is also pressing up agains the spinal cord
and will be some intricate work by the surgeons.
Caelan Talavera is 9 years old and in the 4th grade. Don't
know how school will be effected by this.
