Just because they are simple doesn't mean we can apply them without thinking or without taking the time to run sufficient tests. For instance, one of the JIRA you list contains a (simple!) bad fix that breaks an existing valid test. ;-( As I pointed out before even simple fixes are unlikely to be committed without patches for regression tests.
