Geir, I have a question: The Quick Help guides (with patches applied) now list the required and additional tools that are needed to get and build our sources. Do you think we can also include some "sure-to-work configurations" that are now discussed in thread "[general] version of gcc and other tools"? this might serve as some guidance for users.
