This is from the New York Times. Since no one has mentioned this on HaSafran I thought I should share this. Leon Uris's Exodus was a powerful piece of historical fiction when it first came out. I remember seeing the movie in the theater and how proud I felt to be a Zionist when the Hatikvah was sung.
