Thank you to all those who have expressed interest (or who are about to
express interest!) in becoming an AJL Mentor!

The Mentoring Committee is working on a handout that will provide guidelines
for mentors and mentees, but in the meantime I can tell you that it should
not be an overwhelming job.  It's really very similar to our "regular" jobs
as librarians -- it's a matter of helping someone find the information they
need, sometimes by simply giving them the answer, other times by leading
them to a good info source.

The Committee has created a standard form for collecting info about mentors.
