The letter should explain the reasons for concern about evident bias, or inaccuracy, and document the areas of concern. It should be clear that the writer's purpose is not to ask that the book not be bought, but that other more balanced material also be acquired. Perhaps the letter should come from a local professional group, such as an AJL chapter.
