I'm currently teaching a month's author study on Arnold Lobel, and, of course, the students asked if Mr. Lobel was Jewish. I've looked at every online biography I could locate for him, with no luck. I do know his wife is Jewish, with a great autobiography.
Any sites I could use to find this information, both now and in the future? The students always want to know if certain people are Jewish or not. Some I know, but some are more difficult to locate.
