My husband teaches middle-school science, and as part of the program
to encourage reading, he wants his students to read
biographies. Because the public school library is so limited, and that
many of his students do not use the public library, he wants to have some
biographies in the classroom for reading levels 4 through 9. I am trying
to get such books used for him. Since he has to pay for the books out of
his own pocket, cost is an issue. We got a dozen good biographies at the
local library used book sale, but I am trying to find other sources for
getting them. Does anyone have
any suggestions as to where to get such books?
Thanks so much. I really do appreciate this list. It has been so very
helpful whenever I have posed (Judaica) questions.
