Dear Friends,

I am preparing to teach an Adult Education class on Jewish literature for
children. I am grouping each of the 4 sessions around a particular theme:
books about Jewish values, books about God, books about family history, and
Bible stories. I have already identified many good books in each category,
but find that most of my titles are picture books for younger kids. I need
more titles for pre-teens and teens. I've checked the AJL ValuesFinder, but
am interested in any personal recommendations that you can give me for
high-quality books on these 4 themes that I can recommend with confidence to
the parents in the class.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
