My wife is currently looking for a public library gig, so I am eagerly awaiting your responses as well. I recently heard of a Seventh-Day Adventist in the same situation a few years ago. At the very beginning of the "interview", the woman in charge of the interview committee stood up and said something to the effect of "Ms. -- refuses to work Saturdays, I don't think this is the kind of person we want at our library." Once this story got out, managers of other libraries in the same system started to call up the interviewee and asked her to apply to their branches. I think (hope) most people are pretty flexible in you are willing to work evenings, Sundays, etc. Good luck!
