This comprehensive bibliography includes all the worksby and on the Vilna Gaon, R. Elijah b. Solomon Zalman. It includes over 1600 books divided into 25 categories: 8 categories of subjects, Bible, talmud Grammar and Science etc, Approbations issued by the Gaon , Biographies of the Gaon, his connection to Eretz Israel, Commentaries on his books, Letters of the Goan, Eulogies and tales about the Gaon, selected articles on the Gaon, books by members of his family, Maps of Eretz Israel and drawings of the Third Temple by the Gaon, reproductions of portraits of the Gaon and about 150 reproductions of title pages of rare editions of his works. The reproductions are on glossy paper and many are in full colour. There are also indexes of names, titles, places etc and lists of editions by year and by place of printing. The descriptions of the editions are very detailed and include transcriptions of the text of the title- pages and quotations from the prefaces.
