I only heard parts of the presentations because I worked the registration desk (since I'm retired). But, my location allowed me to hear the attendees' comments and see their smiling faces throughout the two days. The Children's Literature Conference on Nov. 9 with all the children's authors and illustrators brought us incredible evaluations from more than 100 attendees. The 350 Days and Counting Conference (350th anniversary of Jews in America) on Nov. 10 was equally as interesting and satisfying. it was good to see colleagues and friends from south and north too, and a few from the mid-West. And thanks too to AJL, and Sara Spiegel, for co-sponsoring the same, and to Lisa for obtaining the Mount Sinai grant to allow us to do it in style.
