Dear colleagues, A student has asked us for information (book, article etc. (not encyclopedia) on the founding of the city of Cologne in what is now Germany. I have tried all the usual sources and have come up with very little. I know it was founded in Roman times at the time of the emperor Claudius in honor of his wife.
Does anyone have any books, journals etc. that discuss this topic? Thank you in advance.
